KIT-17DS123
AquaGlass door finish
Kitchen- Best for
- The most light a kitchen can return, which is worth most in a room with one window.
- Watch out
- It mirrors the room, so it shows fingerprints and every uneven door gap along the run.
- Cost effect
- The highest of the three.
- Scope effect
- Finish is fixed at fabrication; precision carcass leveling and door gap adjustment must be fixed during final installation so reflections do not read as crooked.
- Responsible
- Supplied and installed by ALUMAX
- Best for
- A quieter surface than gloss that still reads as glass, and the most forgiving of the three with daily marks.
- Watch out
- The metallic texture is directional, so a replacement door years later has to match the run's orientation as well as its colour.
- Cost effect
- The reference point of the three.
- Scope effect
- Finish is fixed at fabrication; a later change means new door faces, not a refinish.

- Best for
- A flat, even colour where the kitchen should recede rather than reflect.
- Watch out
- A flat surface shows a dent or a scuff more plainly than a broken one does.
- Cost effect
- Comparable to metallic.
- Scope effect
- Finish is fixed at fabrication; establishes the base colour batch for any future additions, though without the texture orientation dependencies of metallic.
