- Two people cannot pass comfortably while cooking; door swings at either end will fight the run.

- Efficient: less run length than an L or U for the same storage.

- Sets a minimum clear width between runs; confirm it before the plan is fixed.

- The general-purpose answer — works in most rooms and leaves a natural dining or circulation zone.
- Watch out
- The corner is dead volume unless a corner solution is specified with it.
- Cost effect
- Moderate.

- Pairs with a corner decision (DS11); leaving that open leaves storage unresolved.

- Watch out
- Needs real floor width; two corners means two corner problems and a closed-in feel in a small room.

- The most run length of the four.
