1. Who we are

"ELS by ALUMAX" (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a renovation design, specification and coordination studio operated by ALUMAX Office & Home Living Sdn Bhd, based in Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia. This website is https://els.alumax.pro. We are the party responsible for the personal data described here.

2. The data we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the Renovation Pre-Check, a contact form, or message us, we collect your name and contact details (phone or email), the project details you choose to share (such as property type, spaces, concerns, budget expectations and timeline), and any photos or documents you upload.

Information collected automatically. As you browse, we collect pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and the source that referred you — including campaign parameters (UTM tags) and click identifiers such as gclid (Google) and fbclid (Facebook) — together with how you interact with our tools, using cookies and analytics.

3. How we use your data

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare recommendations, specifications and indicative pricing.
• To coordinate the delivery of your project with ALUMAX and any appointed trade partners.
• To understand which channels bring visitors and to improve this website and our services.
• To keep records for legitimate business and legal purposes.

4. Your consent

By submitting a form or enquiry, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described here. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us; this will not affect processing already carried out, and may mean we can no longer assist with your enquiry.

5. Who we share it with

We share your data only as needed to respond to you and deliver your project, with:

• ALUMAX Office & Home Living Sdn Bhd (ALUMAX) — for product supply, site measurement and installation — and appointed trade partners engaged for your project.
• Service providers that process data on our behalf: website hosting (Vercel), analytics (Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager), messaging (WhatsApp Business, provided by Meta), email delivery (Resend), and our records / CRM system (Airtable).

We do not sell your personal data.

6. Cookies, analytics & your device

We use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and to measure our marketing. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on.

Some tools (such as the Renovation Pre-Check) also save your answers in your browser's local storage so you can return to them later. This stays on your device and is not sent to us until you choose to submit; you can clear it any time through your browser.

7. Data retention & transfers

We keep your personal data for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and deliver your project, and thereafter as required for legitimate business or legal purposes. Some of our service providers process data on servers outside Malaysia; where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains appropriately protected.

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your rights

Under the PDPA you may request access to, or correction of, the personal data we hold about you, limit its processing, or withdraw your consent. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

10. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will remove it.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed. Significant changes will be reflected on this page.
