ALUMAX selects and supplies the nominated visible / key materials. The partner specialist supplies the concealed materials and owns the technical design, installation, testing and workmanship warranty — their work is not under ALUMAX's liability. This register makes that split explicit for every package.
This is an internal coordination framework, not a legal instrument. The liability separation is an operating intent — a disclaimer alone is not enough, so review and draft it with a Sarawak construction lawyer before it appears in any quotation or customer terms.

A disclaimer that “specialist work is not ALUMAX's liability” may not be enough on its own. CIDB defines a contractor broadly — including a person who undertakes or manages construction work — so the actual contracting, payment, marketing and site-control arrangement matters, not just the wording. This structure must be reviewed and drafted by a Sarawak construction lawyer before it is placed in any quotation or customer terms, and contractors undertaking construction work may have CIDB registration obligations within their grade and category.
