Eight additional trades, each registered as its own specialist package — because their preparation, testing, safety and warranty responsibilities differ. ALUMAX supplies selected key materials; the specialist prepares, applies, tests and warrants the work.

Important — TXT-SPR and ABR-BLAST must not be treated as the same trade. Architectural 喷砂 normally means a decorative spray-texture finish, while abrasive blasting is a hazardous surface-preparation process.

Because ALUMAX supplies selected key materials while the partner specialist performs the work, require a signed substrate and material acceptance form before installation:
“The specialist has inspected and accepted the substrate, quantities, product compatibility and site conditions, and remains responsible for preparation, application, workmanship, testing, protection, curing and the installation warranty.”
This prevents the common dispute where failed paint or epoxy is blamed on the supplied material even though the actual cause was moisture, contamination, poor preparation, incorrect mixing or premature use.
For epoxy and drainage coatings, ALUMAX should preferably supply or approve the complete compatible system, not only the finish coat. CIDB treats waterproof protective coating, concrete repair, surface drainage and underground drainage as distinct competency areas, supporting this separation of specialist packages.
