It means the conditions ALUMAX produces to are final and won't move: walls built and plastered, dimensions stable, electrical and plumbing points set and confirmed, floor level with the finished-floor decision sequenced, wet-area waterproofing fully cured, and safe access with working power on install day. ELS checks each of these against the production scope before the order is locked — because cabinets are cut to the site as measured, not as hoped.

Because ALUMAX produces to confirmed dimensions and cut-outs to confirmed points. Once a unit is fabricated, changing the site means cutting finished cabinetry on the spot, refitting, or re-ordering a part — all of which cost you money and time. Readiness checks help identify conditions that could cause refitting, delays or additional work.

No. ELS coordinates and confirms readiness — we check, document and sign off. The wall, plaster, tiling, flooring, waterproofing, electrical and plumbing trades are carried out by your contractor or appointed specialists. ELS checks their work against one approved scope and recommends the sequence; we don't direct or replace them.

We give you an honest no-go with a short list of exactly what's open — a point not yet set, waterproofing still curing, a floor not yet level. That's the whole point: a no-go before fabrication costs a revisit; a yes given too early costs cut cabinetry. We'd rather protect your order than protect the schedule.

Follow the membrane manufacturer's cure time for your system — it varies by product and by Sarawak humidity, and ELS confirms it on site rather than guessing. The principle holds regardless: drilling fixings or tiling over green, uncured waterproofing breaks the membrane, and in our climate the leak shows up behind the cabinet, where it's slowest and costliest to fix. The cure is waited out before any base unit install.

Yes. ELS can run the readiness check against the ALUMAX install scope even when your own contractor is doing the building works. We mark up what's set and what's open, give your contractor a clear sequencing note, and confirm readiness before ALUMAX takes its final measurement. That keeps the boundary between your trades and the ALUMAX install clean — and keeps responsibility for any gap in writing.

On a project basis, because the check depends on how much site there is and how many trades and wet zones touch it. The ELS technical site survey itself is from RM300 in Sibu and from RM500 outstation (excluding SST). Credited in full against a qualifying confirmation within 60 days — conditions apply. ELS does not supply the floor. Flooring, including SPC, is ELS+ installation scope, assessed case by case; materials can be quoted by ELS Source, subject to suitability and quotation. ELS coordinates the readiness around it — confirming the floor is level and sequencing the finished-floor decision against the cabinetry so toe-kicks and door gaps land right. Broader flooring systems, screeding or levelling works are multi-trade and would be scoped separately on a project basis.
