- Cables are visible unless managed, and the wall above stays unresolved.

- The least expensive.
- Scope effect
- Socket and cable positions still need deciding, even for a loose unit.

- Anchoring the TV to a panel while keeping the storage low and light.
- Watch out
- The panel width has to relate to the TV and the room, or it reads accidental.
- Cost effect
- Moderate.
- Scope effect
- TV size and mount height must be fixed before the panel is made.

- Making the whole wall one designed element with everything concealed.
- Watch out
- It commits the wall — a later TV size change or a moved socket is joinery work.
