Common questions

Will coastal salt air damage aluminium windows and cabinet hardware in Mukah?

It can, if the finishes and grades are not chosen for it — salt air pits poorly-coated frames and seizes low-grade hinges and runners over time. ELS specifies salt-appropriate aluminium finishes and corrosion-rated hardware, and coordinates the ALUMAX supply and the appointed service team's installation so the system suits the exposure. Getting the grade right up front is what keeps the coast from becoming a maintenance problem.

Does being far from Sibu slow a Mukah renovation down?

It can, mainly through delivery lead-times and the risk of re-sending a wrong part. My house is older or kampung-style — can it still be modernised?
