How do renovation materials actually reach Kapit?

Almost everything travels up the Rejang by express or cargo boat from Sibu, so transport shapes the schedule and the sizes that are practical. ELS plans the full material list, quantities and component sizes around boat cargo limits, then coordinates the shipment. That planning is what keeps the job on time upriver.

What happens if a part is missing or damaged after installation?

Upriver you cannot simply re-order and collect the same day, so ELS plans to avoid it: every count is locked before shipping and a spares kit travels with the main delivery. If something does go wrong, on-hand spares and simple, serviceable fittings mean a general trade can usually fix it without waiting for the next boat.
