- No privacy at all, and it shows everything on both sides, including the mess.

- The least expensive glass.
- Scope effect
- Decide manifestation or a visual cue at eye level so the pane reads as glass.

- Privacy while still passing light — bathrooms, bedrooms, anywhere a sightline is unwanted.
- Watch out
- Blocks the view entirely, so the borrowed-light benefit is the only one left.
- Cost effect
- Moderate.
- Scope effect
- Confirm which side the finish faces and how it cleans.
- Responsible

- Best for
- Softening a sightline without losing the sense of light or depth — the middle answer.
- Watch out
- Distortion depends on distance; at close range it obscures far less than clients expect.
- Cost effect
- Above clear glass.
- Scope effect
- Reed direction is a design decision and should be drawn, not left to the installer.
