Curtain pocket in a coffered ceiling

The problem

A curtain track screwed under a finished ceiling is visible, collects dust on its face, and leaves no room for an LED wash — so the ceiling and the window never read as one designed plane.

What ELS does

Form a curtain pocket into the coffered ceiling, sized at construction stage, with the LED recess and thermal access coordinated into the same detail.

Why it works

The pocket has to be dimensioned before the ceiling is boarded — it cannot be added afterwards. Coordinating it with the LED recess in one detail is what keeps the reveal straight and the driver reachable.

Written for planning, not construction. Confirm every dimension against your approved project drawings.
