ELS Recovery · Delivered by the ELS+ team

ELS Recovery

ELS Recovery — targeted repairs, carefully assessed and finished.

A small menu of repeatable repair tasks, each quoted on its own defined scope. The ELS+ team delivers it, and every task is quoted after photos and, where needed, a site inspection.

Assessment first, then repair

Restoration Assessment establishes the cause and scope; ELS Recovery executes the agreed repair. Where the cause of a defect is not yet known, the assessment comes first.

Six task families

Each family lists what ELS checks before it quotes. A check can change the scope or the answer.

  • Tile replacement. Remove and replace damaged tiles; reinstate affected joints.
Check before quoting: Matching stock, substrate condition, nearby damage and waterproofing implications.
  • Plaster recovery. Repair local damage and prepare for repainting.
Check before quoting: Whether moisture, movement or another unresolved cause remains.
  • Paint recovery. Local repair or repaint a defined surface.
Check before quoting: Colour, sheen, ageing and whether a patch will remain visible.
  • Sink adjustment / repositioning. Correct mounting or move a sink where feasible.
Check before quoting: Worktop opening, supports, plumbing, waste and adjacent cabinetry.
  • Cabinet adjustment. Realign doors/drawers; replace supported hardware.
Check before quoting: Identify the system, component condition and available replacements.
  • Sealant renewal. Remove and replace suitable failed joints.
Check before quoting: Underlying leaks, joint design and substrate condition.

Sink adjustment is separate from relocation. Moving a sink can involve a new worktop, plumbing changes and cabinet alterations, so it is not sold as a simple adjustment before inspection.

“Charge per task” means a defined repair scope. It is not one fixed price whatever the conditions turn out to be.

How a repair is delivered

  1. Photos and task description
  2. Preliminary assessment
  3. Site inspection where needed
  4. Task quotation
  5. Approved repair
  6. QC and handover

Send photos and a short description of the task by WhatsApp or through the contact page. This site does not take file uploads.

What a task quotation states

  • What is being repaired, its size or quantity and the intended finish
  • The labour, materials, protection, removal and disposal included
  • Access, the number of visits and any return visits needed for curing
  • Matching limitations and any defects that remain
  • The conditions that require reassessment and a written variation
  • Inspection, acceptance and who is responsible for the repaired work

No price is shown on this page. A task is priced in its own quotation, after assessment.

What ELS Recovery covers, and what it does not promise

  • ELS Recovery adjusts and replaces supported hardware only on systems ELS can identify. ALUMAX-supplied cabinets, and cabinet restoration or refurbishment, stay with ALUMAX.
  • ELS Recovery does not promise an invisible repair or a permanent resolution. A repair is judged against the cause, the materials and the agreed scope.

Before and after, with permission

With the client's permission, ELS plans to record the before, the diagnosed condition, the repair stages and the finished result of each completed job, with a wide view and a close-up under comparable lighting. Immediate acceptance is recorded separately from any later follow-up.

No completed ELS Recovery repair is shown on this page yet.
